Your Heart!!

Proverbs 4:23
Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects everything you do. (NLT)

It's easy to have a million excuses as to why you cannot or will not do this.
You might say BUT I have the right to not forgive, BUT I have the right to have sex,
BUT I have the right to be bitter & hurt myself...etc.
It's time to let lose of your BUT and GO with God.
We have to guard our hearts.
If your heart is broken, it affects everything you do.
Most of us have experienced that at some point in your life.
If your heart gets hard it causes you to go down the wrong path and not be open to God.
I think you get the idea of how important it is to guard your heart
and to make sure it's in tune with God on a daily basis.
This is a very short verse but it's one that could change your life forever.

Someone Does Cares!!

" See, I am concerned for you, and I will come to help you." (NLT)
Ezekiel 36:9

Some times in life it's difficult to find that someone
who really cares about what you are going through.
It's always a comfort to find a person that is concerned for you
and willing to walk through the tough times with you.

At times it's possible that those kinds of people will be hard to find but there is good news!

God is concerned for you and will come to help you.
The Lord loves you with an unconditional love
and longs to walk through anything that you are facing.

So even though it seems like no one cares for you,
you can always know the God of the universe thinks you are special
and very, very concerned for you.
You are never alone!
Share with the Lord today what you are going through and ask Him for His help.

You are going to make it and yes, SOMEONE DOES CARE.

I wanna share this song with you (Before the Morning-Josh Wilson)

An Empty Life

" One person pretends to be rich, yet has nothing;
another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth."

Proverbs 13:7

We have had friends who love to show off in life...
big cars, big houses, most high tech gadgets, dress like there's no tomorrow.
I do not believe it's wrong to have things that God has blessed you with...
but some live a lifestyle of just showing off.
They want the world to look at them and think they are at the top!!

There's a guy who did this and his life was so empty.
Until he spent some time in depression because he had nothing of value inside of him.
The things he had were not wrong but what he did with them was wrong.

HAITI, one of the poorest countries in the world.
There were no Xbox, ipad, good schools, nice clothes, etc...
There was hardly enough food and drinking water and yet there were people full of life!!
Children playing in the streets with smile on their faces.
YES, they were facing tough times but they also knew
what it is to live a simple life & to be happy in that.

Praise God for the things you are blessed with but do not become showy.
Make sure you live life to the FULLEST!!
