Develop a Pure Hunger

"Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation."

1 Peter 2:2

Why is it that so many people find God's Word hard to understand?or even boring?

I believe it is because they are trying to fit God's Word into their life where they see fit when God intended for it to be the other way around.

You can't force a square block into a circular shaped hole, it wasn't designed to be that way!!

When you see your life the way God intended, and you accept that you don't belong in this world and you are a child of the King, you must embrace His purpose for your life here.

You will then see that those things you struggle with can be tossed aside like weights you were not meant to hold. You will then see that you cannot live in this earthly life in God's power without being equipped with His Word.

The main thing about newborns and food is that they don't know of any other food than milk. They are not designed to receive any other food.

All they know is that milk is what they need and they have a developed hunger for it.

There is no other food that our souls were meant to crave then the truth of God's Word ministering to our spirit and purifying us inside so that we can obey on the outside.

Whatever you are holding onto that does not come from God, throw it to the side!!

Seek after God through His Word knowing that He wants to fill you, and submit to Him and ask Him to make you teachable.
